We have had a great week with lots of activities based around the story of The Runaway Chapati. We made sound effects to the story, acted it out and made chapatis with Gaynor in the kitchen. We also won the Caretakers Cup for the tidiest classroom for the second time this term – well done Class R!

Next week we will be basing our activities around the story ‘Handa’s Surprise’. I can’t believe that it is the last week before Half Term! The children have settled really well and have made new friends which is lovely to see.

Pupil of the Week – 14th October 2016

Our Learner of the Week could re-tell the story of  The Runaway Chaptai with lots of expression and using the story language of the book. Fantastic!
