In maths this week we are working on word problems involving the four operations, as well as continuing to work on statistics and interpret bar graphs. In English yesterday, we wrote some lovely poems using our senses based around our book Blodin the Beast. The pupils had to decide what things they would put into Shanga’s magic carpet, and they came up with some lovely imaginative ideas. Later in the week we are going to be creating play scripts and reading a little more of the book to find out what happens to Blodin.
In science we are going to be exploring reflective surfaces, and in geography we will be learning about some more extreme weather!
I will be allocating some more mymaths homework later in the week.
Keep bringing in your reading journals on Friday, it’s great to see all your hard work. Also, don’t forget to practice your spellings for our test on Friday!
