We are up and running on our blog! Look out each week for updates about what we have been learning and what we will be focussing on the following week. The children have settled in well and I am really impressed with how they are coming in each morning. Don’t worry if there are a few tears at the end of the week – the children get quite tired as they start full time school and we are sensitive to this.    This week we are very proud as we won the Caretakers Cup for having the tidiest classroom! Last week we also won the attendance certificate for the highest class attendance in the school. A terrific start! Well done, Class R.  Next week we will be doing lots of activities around the story of The Little Red Hen. For example, Gaynor our cook will be making bread with us on Thursday and we will also be looking at Autumn seeds using our senses.   How you can help this week:  Collect and bring in some Autumn seeds. Discuss what they look and feel like.
