Well done to our pupils of the week, they were chosen for their resilience towards their learning.

This week we have been learning all about Guy Fawkes. We acted out the story and then wrote about all the facts we had learnt.

In Maths we have been learning to multiply and divide. We used different methods to see how we could get to the solution.

In Writing we have been writing stories and learning about features of poetry. We are looking forward to writing shape poems next week.

Thank you for all the home learning projects that I am getting in. They look fantastic. Keep them coming.

I have again been checking times tables and counting forward and backwards in 1’s, 2’s, 5’s and 10’s from any number. Please can you practise this with your child at home along with visiting the my maths website.

We have covered the following spellings: door, floor, poor, because, find, kind, mind, behind, child, children, wild, climb, most, only, both, old, cold, gold, hold, told and every. Please can you keep revisiting these with the children and check they can spell them all. If they are struggling focus on 3 words a week.

Thank you for all your support,

Mrs Miller
