Hello everyone, I was very impressed with all the Viking longhouses that arrived into class 3 yesterday morning. You have all worked really hard, and it will be lovely to show off your creations at our homework exhibition next week.
This week in Class 3 will be revisiting our column addition, subtraction and multiplication. We will also be doing some more work on perimeter. In our writing, we will be exploring the different features of playscripts and planning our own to perform later next week.
In Science, we will be learning about the muscles in the human body. In our Vikings topic we will be exploring Viking Myths and Legends and we will also be beginning some work in our netball skills in PE.
If any parents are available to help out on our school trip on Friday 24th of November, please let me know as soon as possible.
I have also set new mymaths homework, so get practicing!
Timestables- (Test will be on Thursday this week)
Group 1: x8
Group 2: x6
Here are some pictures from our class debate yesterday, we looked at the playscript of The Three Billy Goats Gruff and the children had to decide whether or not the goats should be allowed cross the bridge. They came up with some very convincing arguments!
Next week, we will be making Viking Longboats so pupils will need some cardboard to create their models. Can you please send your child in with an empty cereal box so that we can start work on these boats? Thank you.
