Another busy week in class R! We have been reading Jack and the Beanstalk and have planted beans, looked at what might happen if we add dye to water and put celery in, done lots of adding with golden beans and made some giant glasses, thinking how we could measure them so that they fitted – to name but a few activities!  In PE, we have been learning to jump and land safely. Our daily letters and sounds and maths continue.

If anyone has some ‘recycled materials’ that we can make models with (eg boxes, egg cartons, tubes), we would be very grateful to receive them.

Thank you to those children that have been doing their maths challenges. Don’t forget that PE kit should be in all week!  Thank you.

How you can help your child this week:  We will be making porridge this week for the Goldilocks. Talk about how things change when they are heated up.

Congratulations to our Learner of the Week, who is always ready to learn and perseveres without giving up. Well done!
