On Friday, twelve pupils from Class 5 represented Priory School at the Bournemouth Collegiate School Tag Rugby tournament, participating with eight other schools.
Despite limited training, the squad did terrifically well, really bonding as a team over the matches played. Priory won 5 out of their 8 games, drawing one and being narrowly defeated in two. This ensured a second-placed finish, a fantastic achievement. In fact, Priory went up against the eventual winners, Park School, in their final match, in with a chance of being champions. Although they did not quite achieve it this time, the team showed great potential and this Priory School rugby team will go from strength to strength in Year 6.
