Week beginning: 26.03.18

Well done to our pupil of the week who was chosen for his risk taking in maths.

This week we have been helping Easter Bunny to write instructions about how to plant a plant. We discussed different  sentence starters, adverbs, adjectives and using subordination and co-ordination to help Easter Bunny to be successful with his planting.

In PE we have been learning how to bowl, we practised stepping forward, balancing and and aiming.

In maths we have been learning all about 2d and 3d shapes. The children also created their own shape pictures.

In art we have been learning about Andy Goldsworthy and other artists that use natural resources. We compared art work by looking at patterns, materials used and colour, we then went on a nature walk around school to collect our own materials and created different art.

In RE we have been learning about the importance of praying for Christians.

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter.

Mrs Miller
