What a busy couple of weeks! We have been finding out about the different planets, writing postcards and descriptions, using the parachute to describe what it might feel like in space, and looking at how to find information in books.

In maths, we have been weighing different size planets, making and flying paper aeroplanes to see whose goes the furthest, going on a 3D shape walk and putting planets in size order.

We have also been making collage planets and aliens, salt dough aliens and have been doing some fantastic robot dancing!

These are just some of the activities that we have been doing!

Next week I have changed the planning from the overview, as Mr Tabor read us a fantastic story called ‘Goodnight Spaceman’, which we will be basing lots of activities around.
