Week beginning:4/2/19

Well done to our pupil of the week who was chosen for her continual effort to apply taught skills to new learning. She is always reflecting and trying to improve.

This week in Maths we have begun to look at fractions. We discussed a hundredth and linked it to learning we already know.

In writing we have been looking at why we should recycle plastic bags and clingfilm. We have been writing subordinate and relative clauses.

In DT we have designed our rainforests and begun to build them.

In Science we have been investigating habitats in our local environments and comparing to a rainforest.

Next Friday, after school, we would like to invite parents in, once children have been collected, to see some of our learning this term. If you can not make it, we will take lots of photos to add to our blog.

Have a lovely weekend and thank you for the junk model material.
