Well done to our pupils of the week, who were chosen for their creative role play during our Egyptian day.
During the Egyptian day we learnt all about Tutankhamun’s tomb and the discovery of it. We discussed how we know it existed and imagined what it would of been like to have been there.

In our writing, we completed our suspense stories. The Egyptian day, really helped with our ideas.
In maths we have been learning about rounding to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000. We have been putting this into real life context and thinking about when rounding might be useful.
In Music, we have been learning an Egyptian song about Tutankhamun. We are planning on sharing the song when we invite parents in, to see our learning.
In PSHE, we have discussed children’s rights. We discussed our rights to say how we think and feel. We looked at images and thought about our day and stood behind a picture that represent how we feel. We talked about our emotions and why we felt that way.
Thank you for all the jars we have been receiving. This means we can now start our canopic jar making.
We hope you had a lovely weekend.
