This week, Class 5 brought down the curtain on their project ‘It’s All Greek To Me!’ by designing, making, painting and evaluating their own Greek clay pots. Using the coil technique, we slipped and scored to make some fantastic pottery in the style of the Ancient Greeks. We found out that the phrase ‘to make pottery’ actually meant ‘to work hard’ in ancient times. Therefore, we have declared that we will be ‘making pottery’ all year!
