Class 5 were this afternoon alerted to a strange discovery on the school field as what appeared to be alien remains were spotted. We found several egg-shaped masses which were encased in fleshy entrails. Upon further inspection (which involved Mr Croutear donning safety gloves and piercing the metal casing and membrane), we realised they were full of a green liquid and protecting what seemed to be a glowing capsule. The pupils speculated that a passing UFO may have dropped something onto the school grounds. After a few photos, Mrs Colbeck took the remains to a laboratory for further testing!
