We started our new Science project on Rocks this week! In our lesson the class learnt about the three different types on rocks you can find: Igneous, Metamorphic and sedimentary rocks.
After discussing these the children be back rock star detectives and has to identify each rock based on their properties.
Once they had correctly identified each rock they had to sketch them and write sentences describing the rock based on its texture, colour and appearance.
