We have had a lovely start to Christmas. This week we have been thinking about Advent and the Nativity story. We have made our role play area into the stable and the children have been dressing up and acting out the story. We have been busy sewing and as part of our Environmental Day on Thursday, we made a big Christmas tree picture made out of recycled materials. We went to Druitt Gardens and collected some natural materials for some pictures in the style of Andy Goldsworthy – with fantastic results.

We also won the Caretakers cup for a super tidy classroom.
