Roman Bread

On Tuesday, Class 5 had a fantastic morning baking their Roman bread! We followed a recipe which used rye flour as well as white and wholemeal, measuring out the required quantities with scales and then leaving our to dough to prove. Following our designs, we slashed, scored and shaped our dough before they were baked in the school kitchen. In the afternoon, we sampled our bread and proudly took our loaves home.
