Well done to our pupils of the week, who were chosen for the dedication to learning, even when they they are not in school. One was chosen for their efforts with times tables and the other for creating an amazing replication of a telegraph, that he was inspired to create at home following our immersion day.
This week, we all took part in a fun immersion day, to get us excited about our World War 2 topic: The Blitzed Brits. The immersion day involved creating art work inspired by the Blitz, learning about Morse code, role play and much more linked to the topic.
In maths, we have started to learn all about fractions, mixed fraction and improper fractions.
In Writing, we have been planning and writing our our persuasive letters about deforestation.
In computing, we have been researching all about world war 2 using chrome books.
Please note, we have a school trip on Monday. Children need to arrive by 8.15am, dressed as evacuees. They will also need to bring their lunch with them.
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
