Great Fire of London.

Today, the children stepped back in time to 1666, to explore the surroundings of ‘The Great Fire of London’. They learnt about conditions in London at the time, including what houses were made from and they were built. They learnt about the significant people; Thomas Farynor, Samuel Pepys, King Charles II and The Duke of York.

Additionally, today we explored our new Talk for Writing text: Red Riding Hood by creating freezer frames of each paragraph. The children had a lot of fun doing this!
