Another busy week in Class R. We have made up and acted out our new versions of the story Walking In The Jungle, done some brilliant paper pattern weaving and we are working really hard on starting to build our words. On Pattern Day, we sorted ourselves into different groups according to the patterns on our jumpers, copied and continued patterns and drew some animal patterns. The children also wrote a wonderful class prayer for Remembrance Day – all their own work!
Dear God
We remember all the brave people who fought in the war.
Thank you to everyone for keeping us safe. Please help the doctors and nurses to help people get better when they get sick.
Help us to be respectful and kind and helpful.
Help us to be always there for each other.
Amen
Next week we will be learning all about Elmer the elephant.
Thank you so much to Patrick and Halle’s mums for reading the class a story – we loved watching you on the screen. If anyone else would like to do this, please send a video of yourself to the office.
Our Learner of the Week this week is Hope. She shows great perseverance when completing ‘jobs’ and is trying really hard to build her words when reading.
Last week our Learner of the Week was Evie, who had shown a great attitude to learning during the week. Well done!
