This week we have been finding out about religion and the different Roman gods in our topic work. In RE we have discussed fasting as well as looking at the Easter Story. For English and maths the focus has been on mid-year assessments and it is clear that there are now gaps in learning for some children that have developed during the pandemic over the last couple of academic years. I will be addressing this over the next term. Some children still need to learn all their times tables and this is holding them back in areas of learning such as division and fractions. Please push the learning of tables at home. Overall I have been really pleased with their attitude to learning since returning to school and we have had some lovely writing handed in this week. Keep up the hard work children!
