Class 6

Dorset sustainability group

This week, Class 6 were incredibly lucky to have a virtual session with Jennifer from Dorset Sustainability Group. As you are aware, this half term, we will be learning about how to protect our planet and what we can do to help.

The children were so engaged with the chat where they learnt about: how to upcycling clothing, how to make the home more sustainable and planting fruit and vegetables in the garden (if there is room). Some really exciting times ahead for Class 6!

Class 6

Monday 13th July

Into the final week of term and hopefully a lot of fun and time to catch up with friends during the last week and Leavers’ Assembly on Friday. We will miss all of Class 6 and understand that not all will be able to attend this week. We wish you all well in your further adventures and next steps of your education. As I write this, the play has gone live on Google Classroom and thanks to Mr C for his editing work. Wishing you all, on behalf of Mr Holloway and Mrs Poulter and I, a lovely summer and I hope to catch up and hear about your new schools at some time next year.

One final call for Leavers’ Pages, there are still one or two missing, they need to be shared with me by the end of today to gain entry to the book. Links to learning on Oak Academy, Classroom Secrets and Bitesize are on my previous posts, but see this as a final week of fun!

Class 6

Monday 29th June

Attached are notes/learning for this week . The key thing is entries for the Leavers’ book need to be shared with me on Google Classroom by Thursday this week. Also, filming for the play will take place in my pod on Tuesday and Mr Holloway’s on Wednesday. Possibility of retakes on Thursday but we will tell the children if this is the case. Children will therefore need their outfits for Tuesday/Wednesday this week according to filming days. They can come in to school dressed in their play outfit on the day of filming! PS do not stress about outfits, it is the dancing, acting and fun that is important!
