Summer Fayre Celebration

Thank you to everyone who helped, came along and enjoyed the Summer Fayre celebrating 150 years of The Priory School

We raised over £3,500 for much needed outdoor play equipment for the children.

We have already managed to purchase this year:

  1. Goalposts
  2. Table tennis table
  3. KS1 and KS2 outdoor sheds with lunchtime play equipment

Our spending plans for the rest of this year are:

  • Traversing wall
  • Playtrail
  • New Welcome path and playground markings
  • Coloured canopy outside Class 1
  • Playhouse for EYFS

Please continue to help us raise the money to buy the above equipment to ensure our children have a great educational experience.

Swimafun

Two teams from Priory School swam in the Round Table Swimafun at Two Riversmeet last Saturday to raise funds for the Round Table and FPS.

The teams did really well and completed over 150 lengths between them, the age ranged from 5 years to slightly over 30! with three mums taking part as well.

Over £400 was raised.

Ideas Social

The FPS held an Ideas social in late January to inform parents/carers of the school funding and why the FPS raise money for the school.

We will shortly be publishing the output from the meeting, so you can see what was said, what ideas were generated and how the FPS along with the school/parents/carers/children decides how the money will be best used and spent.

Over 35 parents/carers attended.

We will also be holding another one next term and do hope you will be able to come along and participate

thank you

School Disco raises over £500

The FPS held a school disco for KS1 and KS2 on 9th February, over 140 pupils attended and enjoyed an evening of dancing, games and tuck shop type snacks

With your support we raised just over £500.00 which will be used towards some outdoor play equipment.

Thank you to those who helped on the night and made this such a successful event, which we will be repeating next term.

Thank you for supporting the FPS
