The school has been given the opportunity to take part in a project that will run jointly between BCP schools and Dorset Police.
From the 1st April 2021, Operation Encompass reports to schools, prior to the start of the next school day, when a child or young person has experienced any domestic abuse.
Operation Encompass will ensure that a trained member of the school staff, known as a Key Adult, liaises with the police to use information that has been shared, in confidence, to provide support for children, and their families, who have experienced a domestic abuse incident.
The two designated Key Adults at the Priory School are Mr Ruffle and Mrs Fidge.
